Water Baptism

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus representing they have died to their old self and desires and raised up out of the water to identify with His resurrection and their new life in Christ. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things:

You are a follower of Jesus Christ, You are beginning a changed life in Christ, and You are part of a new family. It is an outward demonstration of what God has done on the inside and a declaration of your decision to follow Jesus.

If you are interested in being baptized please fill out the form below and someone from the church office will contact you.

Water Baptism
Baptism Instructions - Now that you have decided to sign up for water baptism, you will need to attend a brief 30 minute meeting prior to the baptismal service. The meeting will be held in the Pastor’s office. On the day of the baptism please wear (or change into before service) the clothes in which you will be baptized in. Ladies, we ask that you wear clothes dark in color, modest shorts or slacks, but no swimsuits, skirts or dresses. Gentlemen may wear slacks, modest shorts or swimsuits that reach the knees with a shirt. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHING AND A TOWEL. The baptism will be held at the end of the service. You will be asked to share a short testimony stating when you accepted Jesus as your Saviour. When it is time for the baptism, you will be given instructions to follow. One last thing, we ask that you take a moment to allow us to take your picture after the baptism is complete. We are looking forward to sharing this special time in your spiritual life!
If the baptizee is in elementary school, please make sure he/she understands the decision he/she is making. Thank you for your cooperation.
