We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Scriptures
The Trinity
We believe in one true God, Creator of all things who eternally exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt 3:16-17; 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14)
The Person of Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the union of God and man. He is fully God who became man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, revealing to man the love and nature of God the Father. He died on the cross as the sacrifice for the sins of all men. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, presently is seated at the right hand of the Father, and one day will return for His family. We believe that Jesus Christ our Lord is the only access which humanity has to God the Father. (Isa 7:14; I Cor 15:3-4; Heb 4:14-15)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift, given to each person who acknowledges and confesses: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He died on the cross for the remission of our sins and He rose from the dead. It is by this that one enters into the family of God, releasing them from sin, and giving them eternal life. (Rom. 3:24; 10:8-10; Eph. 2:8)
Water Baptism
Baptism in water by immersion is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4)
Communion
We believe in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. (I Corinthians 11:24-30)
Spirit Led Living
We believe the best way to live an effective Christian life is to have God’s power released in our daily living. This is a result of the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. We seek to practise a daily dependence on the Holy Spirit to guide, teach and empower us in every area of life. The Holy Spirit gives us boldness to share the Gospel and tell others about our relationship with Jesus. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 19:1-6; John 14:16-17)
Divine Healing
We believe divine healing is provided for in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to all who believe.
(Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15; I Peter 2:24; Matt. 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5)
Growing Relationship
We believe every believer should grow in their relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and being conformed to the image of Christ.
(1Peter 2:2; Eph 4: 15-16; 1 Thess 5:23)
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, each believer, born of the Spirit, is an important part with a divine purpose for the fulfillment of the great commission.
(Rom 12:5; 1 Cor 12:27; Matt 28:19-20)
The Return of our Lord
We believe in the bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the saved and the lost; the saved unto eternal life, living eternally in the presence of God, and the lost unto eternal judgement. (I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15)
